Traffic Update: Renovation works are starting at JFK which means entry to the airport may take longer, especially in busy seasons. Many of the existing roadways are getting torn up, which will undoubtedly lead to traffic jams. Please plan accordingly an try to be at the location at least 3 hours prior to your flight.
- Although the staff were courteous and the shuttle timely, they charged me extra saying I have an oversized vehicle. My car is a VW sportswagen which is a mid-sized car. It's 15' long, the same as a Honda Civic, Toyota Prius or Audi A3. The staff said that the manager who wasn't there said to do that although no one there seemed to think that was right. I have parked at many lots at JFK and EWR for decades with the exact same car model and I have NEVER been charged for an oversized car. The staff raised my complaint with the manager but no resolution. Ridiculous and fraudulent. I will never park at Aardwolf again because they cannot be trusted.3
