The new design is coming out later this year!
So… What's new with Delta's cabins?

The updated design will make its first appearance later this year on Delta's Boeing 757 aircraft that operate domestic and short international flights. This will be followed by the airline's Airbus A350 planes in early 2025, as stated by Delta. The refresh will encompass enhancements for every cabin, from the premium Delta One class to the standard Main Cabin.
Here's what Mauricio Parise, the vice president of customer experience design at Delta, said about it:
"Delta has a 100-year history of giving customers a welcoming and thoughtful experience. We use intentional design in every part of a customer's travel. As we start our next 100 years of flying, this new cabin interior combines usefulness and beauty. It creates a fresh, high-quality, and timeless atmosphere that reflects what our customers want."
The company says they created an experience that matches their customers' lifestyles. They want their customers to feel at ease as soon as they get on the plane.

In Delta's business class, called Delta One, the seats will be made of breathable fabric like wool and nylon. This is meant to help keep passengers at a comfortable temperature. Passengers can also relax in their suites with leather headrests.
In First Class and Premium Select, which is Delta's premium economy, the seats will have new seat covers over memory foam cushions. The Comfort+ and Main Cabin seats will have updated black seats with red leather accents. On Delta's wider planes, the Comfort+ and Main Cabin seats will also have new memory foam cushions.
Delta will also change the lighting on the plane. When passengers get on, the lighting will be warm and inviting, making the cabin feel spacious and open. During mealtimes, the lighting will be like a candlelit dinner. When it's time to sleep, the blue lights will slowly dim. And when it's time to wake up, the lights will slowly get brighter.
The plane's bathrooms will also be redone with bright walls, blue cabinets, and an accent wall.
Delta isn't the only airline making changes. This summer, Finnair finished a $200 million upgrade of its cabins. And next year, Delta's partner LATAM is adding a new business-class suite and new economy seats to its planes.
