The airline is also expanding its services to Europe.

The new routes include daily service starting on May 22nd between Jacksonville, Florida and Toronto, Canada. The airline will also operate daily, seasonal service between Montreal, Quebec and Cincinnati, Ohio, as well as a new partial-week, seasonal service between Nashville, Tennessee and Vancouver, Canada. These seasonal services will run from May through October 2025.
"Our expanded transborder service will build upon our leading transborder network, along with increased frequencies to 7 key American cities," shared Air Canada's Executive Vice President of Network Planning, Mark Galardo. "For customers, Air Canada's transborder flights are timed to allow for easy connections at major hubs with our international network, and travelers returning to the United States can save time on arrival with the convenience of US customs pre-clearance during their connection in Canada."
Air Canada is a member of the Star Alliance, which also includes United Airlines. This makes it easier for passengers to connect on Air Canada flights or exchange loyalty points between the 2 programs.
In addition to the new flight routes in the United States, Air Canada is also expanding its services throughout Europe. The airline will start new flights from Toronto to Prague, Czech Republic and Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. They'll also operate new flights from Montreal to Naples, Italy and Porto, Portugal.
Air Canada was recently ranked as one of the top-tier airlines in terms of customer satisfaction in a survey conducted by JD Power.
Airlines have been gradually revealing their summer 2025 flight schedules in an effort to encourage travelers to book future vacations and other leisure travel. American Airlines has announced a new route from Dallas, Texas to Venice, Italy, starting in June 2025, and JetBlue has added a new route from New York's John F. Kennedy Intl Airport (JFK) to Bonaire in the Caribbean.
