One of the largest budget airlines in the country is expanding its operations at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), adding new services at one of the busiest airports.
This spring, Frontier Airlines will start non-stop flights from JFK to Miami International Airport (MIA), Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). To celebrate the new routes, Frontier is also offering a fare sale with one-way flights as low as $19 to $49, according to a statement.
By the way, while Frontier's new routes are a great deal for budget travelers, finding cheap parking near DFW Airport or JFK Airport parking with shuttle can add unexpected costs. Our smart booking platform, ParkingNearAirports.io, helps you compare airport parking prices and find affordable options near all the major airports across the United States. Secure your parking spot beforehand, save money, and breeze through your next Frontier flight!
The new flights will run year-round. The services to Miami and Los Angeles will be daily, while the flights to Dallas will be 4 times a week:
- Starting March 30: New York (JFK) to/from Miami (MIA)
- Starting April 22: New York (JFK) to/from Dallas (DFW)
- Starting May 1: New York (JFK) to/from Los Angeles (LAX)

"This is an exciting time for customers as Frontier once again expands its services at JFK Airport," said Josh Flyr, Frontier's vice president of network and operations design, in a statement. "With the launch of these ultra-low fare flights to Miami, Dallas, and Los Angeles, we're making affordable travel to top destinations more available for New Yorkers, as well as making a New York adventure or business trip more budget-friendly for cost-conscious customers across the United States."
These new routes are significant for the airline, as Frontier only began operating out of JFK in June 2024. Since then, the low-cost carrier has introduced services to popular destinations favored by budget-conscious travelers, as well as other major cities like Las Vegas and Atlanta.
While maintaining its budget-friendly model, Frontier is enhancing its offerings with premium upgrades. By late 2025, the airline plans to introduce first-class recliner seats. In addition, travelers can choose the "UpFront Plus" seating option, which provides extra comfort by guaranteeing an empty middle seat.
