These flights will be available for the summer season until September 7, 2025. Montréal's airport officials mentioned that flights to Newark will also help travelers catch connections to Europe.
"We're thrilled to team up with Porter Airlines for new non-stop service between Montréal and Newark Liberty International Airport," said Charles R. Everett Jr., Aviation Director for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, in a press release. "This addition shows our region's need for better travel options to popular North American locations and our ongoing effort to provide more choices for travelers in the New York-New Jersey area, especially with the rise in international travel."
The airline provides a top-notch experience with no middle seats, plus free beer and wine served in real glassware. Their food and drinks are locally sourced, featuring Mr. Porter's Coffee Blend from Saint-Henri, Montreal and wine from Jackson-Triggs Wines in Ontario. They also serve Moosehead Canadian Lager.
