- Avelo Airlines is a budget airline that's quickly adding new routes.
- To grab the introductory fares, book your flights by March 17 for trips between June 13 and August 25, 2025.
- They're now flying to 3 new places: Nassau in the Bahamas, Grand Rapids, and Long Island.
The airline is offering introductory one-way fares for flights between Wilmington International Airport (ILM) and Dulles International Airport (IAD), starting from an attractive $39. Travel must be completed within the period of June 13 through August 25, 2025, and bookings must be finalized by March 17. Please note that additional charges apply for carry-on luggage, checked baggage, and other optional services, such as seat assignments.
"We are continuing to Inspire Travel by strategically expanding our network at our newest operational bases," stated Andrew Levy, founder and CEO of Avelo Airlines, in an official release. "We are excited to add 3 new destinations to our roster, including our fourth international location in Nassau, Bahamas. These 13 new routes provide our valued Customers with even more options, making it more convenient and affordable than ever before for them to reach their desired destinations."
With these latest additions, the Avelo network now encompasses a total of 56 cities across 23 American states, along with Puerto Rico, and features four international destinations, specifically the Bahamas, Jamaica, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic.
New routes originating from Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), where Avelo currently operates 10 non-stop routes, include:
- Nassau, Bahamas: Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS), commencing June 11 (operating on Wednesdays and Saturdays).
- Grand Rapids: Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR), starting May 23 (operating on Mondays and Fridays).
- Philadelphia: Delaware Valley's Wilmington Airport (ILG), beginning May 22 (operating on Thursdays and Sundays).

New routes departing from Florida's Lakeland International Airport (LAL), where Avelo currently serves 9 non-stop destinations, include:
- Grand Rapids: Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR), commencing June 13 (operating on Mondays and Fridays).
- Long Island, New York: Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP), starting June 12 (operating on Thursdays and Sundays).
New routes from North Carolina's Wilmington International Airport (ILM), where Avelo currently offers 15 non-stop services, include:
- Houston, Texas: William P. Hobby Airport (HOU), beginning June 11 (operating on Wednesdays and Saturdays).
- Washington, D.C.: Dulles International Airport (IAD), starting June 13 (operating on Mondays and Fridays).
- Detroit: Detroit Metro Airport (DTW), commencing June 12 (operating on Thursdays and Sundays).
- Long Island, New York: Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP), starting June 12 (operating on Thursdays and Sundays).
New routes from Charlotte's Concord-Padgett Regional Airport (USA), where Avelo currently provides 11 non-stop destinations, include:
- Detroit: Detroit Metro Airport (DTW), beginning June 13, 2025 (operating on Mondays and Fridays).
- Washington, D.C.: Dulles International Airport (IAD), starting May 23 (operating on Mondays and Fridays).
- Long Island, New York: Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP), beginning May 22 (operating on Thursdays and Sundays).
Moreover, a new route from Philadelphia's Wilmington Airport (ILG), where Avelo currently offers 14 non-stop services, will commence to:
- Jacksonville: Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), starting May 23 (operating on Mondays and Fridays).
