The NASA Press Office reported on November 24 that Bill Nelson, NASA chief, visited Orlando International Airport in Florida.
Nelson met with the head of the airport and discussed the implementation of NASA-developed aircraft flight planning technology, which should improve the reliability of flights.
It was noted that the technology, which was tested during the NASA Aerospace Technology Demonstration 2 (ATD-2), was transferred to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in September 2021.

NASA introduces technology to U.S. airports to manage airport ground facilities called the Terminal Flight Data Program (TFDM).
