To get delivery from the four-wheeled robot Ottobot, travelers need to install a particular mobile app to order food, drinks, and souvenirs - they're sold in several airport shops. After receiving the order, store clerks place the goods in the robot's cargo compartment and send them on their way.
Moving around the airport hall, Ottobot navigates with the help of lidar, a set of other sensors, and a so-called "contextual mobility system" - the manufacturer doesn't explain this term.
