Travelers Named the Top Airlines in 2022 – What Should You Know?

It seems logical to look into the one aspect of travel that you have control over in light of the recent reports that airports are once again a living hell – the air carrier.

A decent airline may make a huge impact in a variety of areas, including the amount of legroom you have, the food you receive, the cabin's cleanliness, and the politeness of the employees.

On September 23rd, 2022, London hosted the Skytrax World Airline Awards (the first time in two years that the awards have taken place, in-person). These airlines were ranked first in what is known as the "Oscars of the Aviation Industry," as chosen by airline passengers:
  1. Qatar Airways
  2. Singapore Airlines
  3. Emirates
  4. All Nippon Airways (ANA)
  5. Qantas Airways
  6. Japan Airlines
  7. Turk Hava Yollari (Turkish Airlines)
  8. Air France
  9. Korean Air
  10. Swiss International Air Lines
  11. British Airways
  12. Etihad Airways
  13. China Southern
  14. Hainan Airlines
  15. Lufthansa
  16. Cathay Pacific
  17. KLM
  18. EVA Air
  19. Virgin Atlantic
  20. Vistara
This is different from the most recent AirlineRatings.com rankings for the best airlines for 2022, where Qatar Airways once again claimed the top place, followed by Air New Zealand and Etihad Airways. The same names – Korean Air, Singapore Airlines, and Qantas – performed well on both lists, though, so that's how close the two lists are.

Customers were asked to rank airlines based on the cabin class, cleanliness, and politeness in an online survey conducted by Skytrax from September 2021 to August 2022 in English, French, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, and Chinese.

Airlines with the Best Cabin Class

Over 350 airlines were represented in the final rankings, with Singapore Airlines winning best cabin crew and best long-haul, low-cost carrier (for its budget company, Scoot). The All Nippon Airways (ANA) cabin was named the cleanest.

For every cabin class, four different airlines were awarded:
  • Singapore Airlines offers the best first-class experience.
  • Qatar Airways has the best business-class experience.
  • Virgin Atlantic provides the best premium economy travel experience.
  • Emirates has the best economy-class experience.
The awards demonstrate exactly how popular Asia-Pacific airlines are right now, especially the winner Qatar. Qatar has already received this award seven times, and Skytrax CEO Edward Plaisted credited Qatar's success to its commitment throughout the epidemic.

Here's what Plaisted stated in a press release:
"Qatar Airways was the largest airline to have flown regularly during the Covid-19 epidemic, with their network never dipping below 30 destinations, and that determination has been widely recognized by consumers."

In addition to all the key info above, we would also like to convey some useful information on traveling – it will be handy for those who prefer doing this by air.

If you use your own car to reach the airport, you know it is critical to park it safely for the duration of your trip. Almost every airport has special on-site parking for this purpose. However, travelers aren't ready to spend a lot of money at the beginning of their trip, as this option is pretty costly. So what should we do then?

Our booking platform, ParkingNearAirports.io, offers travelers online reservations for parking just outside airports that are affordable and convenient. Our experienced team is dedicated to providing travelers parking options at over 100 airports in the US and Canada. The app allows customers to search and compare parking rates at up to 70 percent savings compared to the cost of on-site parking at all major airports.

What is actually off-site parking, and which advantages has this parking type, you may ask? So let's take a closer look at this question.

First of all, off-site parking is much cheaper. So you can save money and then spend the most considerable amount on the things you really want to try or see while traveling.

Secondly, off-site parking services are faster. It might seem that it's faster to park your car at the airport, but that's not always the case. Off-site parking offers you the following convenience: when you drive directly up to the entrance, a staff member pulls your luggage out of your vehicle and loads it into the shuttle. Then they park your car for you. After your baggage is loaded, you can take your seat in the shuttle, which will bring you and your bags to the airport. It is a hassle-free option that is usually faster.

Thirdly, it's much more convenient. People are always stressed before the trip, as there are many things you should keep in mind. Not to be late when taking off, fighting traffic, finding a parking place, wondering how long the shuttle service will take, and more can leave you annoyed before you step foot inside the airport. If you choose off-site parking, you are using the assistance of a private company that caters to travelers' needs. Such services can make your trip much more comfortable when you arrive at the airport and return home.

With ParkingNearAirports.io, it takes just a few clicks within the application to reserve a parking spot. Upon arrival at off-airport parking, customers receive a booking confirmation and a guaranteed parking spot. The app helps customers find the most convenient airport parking lots. If plans change, cancellations are hassle-free and refundable.

We also offer you services for top cruise ports in Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, New Jersey, and Texas.

Let's look at an example. Imagine that you live in St. Louis, Missouri. If you're planning a trip to Richmond, Virginia, you can choose cheap parking near St. Louis Airport. If you're coming from Richmond, the situation is the same – you can use affordable off-site RIC daily parking. So it depends just on where you are flying from.

On our official website, you can find the best deals, airport parking charges per day
, and other information connected with parking near US and Canadian airports.
