The airline is also expanding its route network from Nashville, and next month will initiate new services from Nashville International Airport (BNA) to Albany International Airport (ALB), Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport (JAN), Memphis International Airport (MEM), and Tulsa International Airport (TUL), as well as relaunching previous routes from Nashville to Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) and Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport (PVD) in Providence, RI.

During the Thanksgiving period, Southwest will also introduce routes from Nashville International Airport (BNA) to Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) and El Paso International Airport (ELP).

Southwest Airlines has recently undergone several operational adjustments, including the elimination of its open-seating policy and the termination of its complimentary checked baggage allowance.
