According to the BBC, an American Airlines plane flying from Miami to London turned back after a passenger refused to wear a face mask.
After an hour of flight, the plane returned to the airport. There were 129 passengers on board, of whom one woman refused to wear a mask. She was flying first class.
The airline said flight AAL38 returned to Miami, where police were waiting with all passengers on board. The 40-year-old woman was pulled out from the plane and placed on the American Airlines no-fly list until further investigation.
The flight turned around about an hour after take-off.
