Avelo's expanding wings: new routes connect West Coast destinations

The RDM to STS route marks the first connection from central Oregon to California's renowned wine country. Avelo already operates flights from Redmond to Burbank and Palm Springs in California.
The BZN-BUR route, initially launched in 2021 but discontinued due to a national rental car shortage, is making a comeback. Avelo spokesperson expressed confidence in its success, citing strong bookings from Montana's Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) since the announcement of routes in March.
Service from RDM to Sonoma County will commence on June 23, followed by Bozeman to Burbank on June 28. Avelo's CEO, Andrew Levy, shared his excitement about the new route, making California Wine Country easily accessible for vacationers, weekend getaways, and reconnecting with loved ones.
Avelo's business model revolves around nonstop flights to popular leisure destinations, often utilizing lesser-known airports in densely populated areas. Since its launch in 2021, Avelo has established bases in Burbank, New Haven, Orlando, and Wilmington.
