'Brilliant Lady' sets sail: Virgin Voyages announces North American odyssey!

The cruise company will first launch the Brilliant Lady in September 2025, setting sail from the Big Apple with a series of longer voyages ranging from 5 to 13 nights. These journeys will take passengers to popular East Coast destinations, such as Maine, Charleston, Boston, and Halifax.
Sir Richard Branson, the founder of the Virgin Group, shared the following insights:
"Virgin Voyages started as a simple idea for me and has blossomed into the world's top cruise line with a full fleet of ships. This ship is going to be brilliant in every possible way, and that includes the incredible new places we can travel to. Alaska, LA, New York – here we come!"
After its debut in New York, the brand-new ship will head down to Miami in October, offering epic Caribbean vacations to the ABC islands of Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao, as well as Turks and Caicos, Grand Cayman, and a new port of Ocho Rios in Jamaica.

In March 2026, the Brilliant Lady will embark on a 16-night journey from Miami to Los Angeles, sailing through the Panama Canal. After that, it'll operate 5- to 8-night cruises along the West Coast and Mexico, before heading to Alaska for the summer season.
The Brilliant Lady will feature the cruise line's signature red balcony hammocks, over 20 dining options, and a mermaid-inspired SPA. Unlike the company's other ships, this one will have a specially-designed frame to navigate the Panama Canal and Alaskan waters.
Travelers can make an early deposit starting May 8th to secure their spot on the limited Alaskan itineraries before they're open to the public. The cruise line is also offering Brilliant 4 You Pass for the Brilliant Lady's maiden voyages, which includes a stay in RockStar Suite and 1 shore excursion per trip.
Virgin Voyages launched its first ship, the 'Scarlet Lady,' in 2021. The company then added 2 more ships – the 'Valiant Lady' and the 'Resilient Lady.'
