The full list of available airports for TSA PreCheck enrollment through Clear can be found online, along with their hours of operation. No appointment is necessary to apply for this service, which streamlines the process for travelers who previously faced lengthy waits to complete their application. However, individuals will need to bring their passport or another approved form of identification to complete the enrollment with a Clear representative.
Here's what Caryn Seidman-Becker, the CEO of Clear, said in a statement:
"Partnering with Clear to offer TSA PreCheck enrollment provides travelers with a faster and more efficient airport experience. This collaboration allows US travelers to access more enrollment locations, expanded hours, and additional benefits."
During the enrollment process, travelers can sign up for TSA PreCheck for a one-time fee of $77.95 or bundle it with a Clear Plus membership for $199.95. After the first year, the annual cost for a Clear membership, which enables the use of dedicated airport security lanes and biometric identification, is $189.
Once enrolled, TSA PreCheck participants can leave their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, as well as keep their laptops and liquids in their bags while going through airport security. The combination of TSA PreCheck and Clear Plus can help passengers bypass lengthy security lines, especially at busy airports.
