This summer, Aeromexico is enhancing its U.S. network by introducing new flights from significant East Coast cities, strengthening connectivity through its joint venture with Delta Air Lines.

Starting June 5th, 2025, Aeromexico will introduce daily flights between Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez (MEX), as well as between San Luis Potosí International Airport (SLP) and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). Notably, this marks the first time the Mexican flag carrier will offer flights to Philadelphia, which is currently the largest U.S. market without direct service to Mexico City, according to the airline. For those planning to travel, it might be wise to consider parking at Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport or long-term parking Philadelphia Airport to make your journey more convenient.

In their statement, the airline highlighted that "this addition brings the total number of destinations connected between the 2 countries to 26, operating across 57 routes with a daily joint operation of over 90 flights." This expansion signifies a substantial increase in travel options for passengers looking to connect between the United States and Mexico.

Aeromexico will operate the Mexico City to Philadelphia route using a Boeing 737 MAX-8, featuring 166 seats and cutting-edge amenities, such as fast Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity, and quick charging outlets. The schedule has the flight departing Philadelphia at 10:02 a.m., arriving in Mexico City at 12:55 p.m. The return flight will leave Mexico City at 1:35 p.m., landing back in Philadelphia at 8:25 p.m. the same day. With these new services, travelers should also be mindful of airport parking fees, which can vary depending on the location and duration of stay. The Atlanta to San Luis Potosi route will be serviced by an Embraer 190 aircraft. This flight will depart San Luis Potosi at 9:00 a.m., reaching Atlanta at 2:22 p.m. The return leg will depart Atlanta at 3:39 p.m., arriving in San Luis Potosi at 4:49 p.m.

Last year, Aeromexico launched several new routes to its Mexico City hub, including flights from Boston, Newark, Raleigh-Durham, Tampa, and Washington, D.C. Capitalizing on the success of its current operations, the airline plans to boost capacity from Austin and Dallas-Fort Worth by adding a second daily flight to Mexico City later this summer. This strategic move aims to meet increasing demand and provide even more convenience for travelers.
