Bloomberg reported that Ryanair Holdings Plc had ended talks with U.S. aircraft maker Boeing Co. on an additional order for a Max 10 jet after disagreeing on prices.
Ryanair has an order for 210 Max planes scheduled for delivery over the next five years. "Both sides have agreed not to spend any more time on these negotiations," Ryanair said in a statement.
CEO Michael O'Leary added, "we do not share Boeing's optimistic price forecast." However, he noted that other major Boeing customers, such as Delta Air Lines Inc. and Jet2 Plc, have recently placed orders with Airbus SE.
