According to Business Insider, American Airlines is launching a "Main Select" fare to attract business clients. The airline will offer the new tariff on some key business routes in the United States, including Los Angeles, Washington, and New York.
The fare is fully refundable, offering passengers priority check-in, security and priority boarding, free same-day flight changes, and the ability to choose any seat in economy class, including preferred seats in Main Cabin Extra.

"We're modernizing high-frequency travel capabilities to meet the needs of today's business customers. It means creating an easy and unimpeded journey that has all the convenience they need, the flexibility they need, and a network that offers access to any destination they want to go."
Business clients can obtain an additional Blue Extra fare when flying on high-frequency JetBlue routes, including LGA to BOS, performed exclusively by JetBlue.
